Your Home Care Questions Answered
We know you have questions. Here are the most common ones — and if yours isn't here, please call us. We're always happy to talk.
In most cases, we can have care in place within the same week you contact us. For urgent situations, we do our absolute best to arrange support even faster. Call us on 08 6558 0884 and let us know your timeline.
Many older Australians are eligible for government-subsidised home care through the new Support at Home program. To access funding, you first need an assessment through My Aged Care (call 1800 200 422). Whilst our team can refer you to organisations who can assist with this, we mainly offer private care arrangements for those who prefer immediate, fully flexible support.
Yes. We have experience supporting clients living with dementia and their families. Dementia care requires patience, consistency, and a specialised approach — our caregivers are selected and trained with this in mind. We work closely with families to build routines that provide comfort, safety, and a sense of familiarity.
Yes, Centricare Services provides services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Whether you need care during the day, at night, or around the clock, we have caregivers available to provide the support your loved one needs at any time.
Both. This is one of the things that sets Centricare apart. In addition to personal care and daily living support, we provide qualified nursing care in the home — including wound care, medication management, PEG feeding, and catheter care. For families whose loved ones have complex medical needs, this means they may be able to stay at home far longer than they thought possible.
The cost of services at Centricare Services varies based on the specific needs and care plan of each client. We offer a free initial consultation to discuss your requirements and provide a detailed quote. Our goal is to offer affordable and transparent pricing for all our services.
A free consultation is simply a relaxed conversation — either over the phone or in person at your home. Our care coordinator will listen to your situation, answer your questions about services and funding, and help you understand what kind of support would make the biggest difference. There is absolutely no obligation and no pressure to proceed.
